In an
ongoing effort to reduce the problem of SPAM email, the Kcnet
Networking Team has implemented new spam filtering software. Since
coming online in February, these filters have been monitoring email
coming into our system. The filters have there own intelligence and
learn as they monitor incoming messages. They are now fully active
and the amount of SPAM has been significantly reduced. Although, we
are happy with the results, some of you are finding emails not
getting to you from legitimate sources. We have provided this portal
for you to tell us what email addresses and domains you wish to
receive mail from. No system is without fault, and we need your
input to make this one better. There is an option available for you
to opt out from the filtering…please before doing this…you
understand that everything will be delivered to your inbox! Please
fill out the form at the bottom of the page to submit your requests!
Update August 3, 2008
In an attempt to handle all of the requests that come in to us
through the portal, we are asking that everyone that submits sites
for white or black listing, please fill out the form completely.
Since Friday, there has been an above normal amount of requests
coming in with just a site listed. Since we cannot connect this
request to a person, these requests will not be processed. This is
to eliminate the chance that these requests are coming from
spammers. For those of you that have requested ebay.com be placed on
the white listing, it has been on the list for some time. If you are
still having trouble getting mail from ebay, please submit the
full email address that isn't getting to you! |
